Aus/NZ Pro Circuit Championship 26/27 – Brisbane Masters

Welcome to the inaugural Australia & New Zealand Pro Circuit Championship!

The Australia & New Zealand Pro Circuit Championship brings together the biggest pinball tournaments across both countries into a single season-long competition. Players earn Circuit Points at each qualifying event, with the top 64 players at the end of the season earning a place in the Circuit Championship Final.

FlipperStats is proud to be the official rankings site for the Pro Circuit, and throughout the season we’ll be tracking every event, publishing the latest standings, highlighting the biggest movers, and keeping an eye on the race for Championship qualification.

The 2026/27 season got underway with the Brisbane Masters, the largest pinball event in the Southern Hemisphere with a record 224 players. A strong performance here can provide the perfect platform for a run at Championship qualification.

The Highlights…

If the inaugural Pro Circuit event proved one thing, it’s that world rankings only tell part of the story.

Andrew Priest was undoubtedly the surprise package of Brisbane Masters. Ranked 2,552nd in the world, he stormed all the way to second place to bank 165 Circuit Points and immediately establish himself as a genuine Championship contender. That’s a performance few would have predicted before the first ball was plunged.

Another player to exceed expectations was Sarah Stamp. Despite arriving as the world’s 2,386th-ranked player, she put together a superb tournament to finish fourth, ahead of a host of Australian and New Zealand stars ranked well above her.

From a New Zealand perspective, Laurence Smith also made the trip count. Ranked 1,622nd in the world, a ninth-place finish sees him return home with over 115 Circuit Points and an early place inside the Championship qualification positions.

At the pointy end, Escher Lefkoff did exactly what the world No. 3 is expected to do, claiming the inaugural Pro Circuit victory and taking an early lead in the standings. But with plenty of circuit events still to come, Brisbane Masters is just the opening chapter. Next up is the Illawarra Pinball Open on August 8-9, see https://www.illawarrapinball.com/schedule for the schedule and tickets!
